Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This policy explains how the Lullabee: Cute Alarm Clock app (“Lullabee”) and this website handle your information. Lullabee is made by Goodglow (“we”, “us”), the business of Philip Bakker in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. We built Lullabee to keep your information on your own iPhone.
The short version
The Lullabee app does not collect, store or share your personal data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and nothing you do in the app is sent to us. This website uses no cookies and no analytics.
Information stored on your iPhone
Lullabee saves the following on your device, so the app can work:
- your setup check-in answers and sleep plan
- your alarms, routines, brain dumps and morning mood check-ins
- Lullabee's own sleep estimate (worked out on your iPhone from when you open Lullabee at night and stop your alarm)
- your honey, Bee's wardrobe and your settings
- audio files you choose to use as ringtones
This information is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app removes it from your iPhone.
Backup in your own iCloud
So that you don't lose your honey when you reinstall Lullabee or move to a new iPhone, the app keeps a small backup in your own iCloud account. The backup holds only:
- how much honey you have, the day you last collected it and whether you have had the welcome gift
- the items you own in Bee's wardrobe and the outfit Bee is wearing
It does not contain your sleep data, Health data, alarms, routines, brain dumps or mood check-ins. The backup is stored by Apple in your private iCloud. We cannot see it or access it, and it is not shared with anyone. If you are not signed in to iCloud, no backup is made.
The backup stays in your iCloud if you delete Lullabee, so your honey is still there when you come back. You can view and delete it in your iPhone's Settings, under your name, then iCloud. Apple's privacy policy applies to iCloud: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Apple Health
With your permission, Lullabee reads your sleep data from Apple Health to show your weekly insights. Lullabee only reads sleep data and never writes to Apple Health. Your Health data is processed only on your iPhone, is never stored in iCloud by Lullabee, is never sent to us or any third party, and is never used for advertising or marketing. You can turn off access anytime in the Health app (Sharing › Apps › Lullabee).
Alarms and notifications
Alarms and the wind-down reminder are scheduled on your iPhone. No information leaves your device.
Purchases
Premium and honey packs are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your payment details or your name. Apple's privacy policy applies to these purchases: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Statistics and crash reports from Apple
Apple gives app makers general statistics, such as the number of downloads, and crash reports from people who chose to share analytics with app developers in their iPhone settings. This information is aggregated or anonymous and does not tell us who you are. You can switch sharing off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
When you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to answer you. Our email is provided by Microsoft (Outlook). We keep support emails for as long as we need them to help you and delete them within 12 months after our last contact. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your question (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This website
This website is hosted by Netlify. Like any web server, Netlify briefly processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and keep the site secure; see Netlify's privacy policy. The site uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking and no fonts or scripts from other companies.
Children
Lullabee does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to object to its use and to receive a copy. Because the app does not send us your data, we usually hold nothing about you; if you have emailed us, you can ask us to see or delete those emails. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In the Netherlands, that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change means the app would collect data, we will say so clearly in the app before it happens.
